Keeping up with what's hot

I'm trying to find some websites to stay ahead of the curve with Internet Technology and what's hot... I always seem to be the last one to hear about the latest site or "gadget". So I am searching for some good sources that I can bookmark and check out daily... Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well, Engadget and Gizmodo would be the two standard blogs for that.

Seconding Engadget and Gizmodo. Add them to google reader(or whatever RSS aggregator you use), and you're done!

I find PSFK interesting-- it's not entirely gadgets but it does touch frequently on innovative tech items-- prototypes and design and the like. They have an Electronics and Gadgets category if you want it filtered.

Best answer: Popurls it's a site aggregator, and two of the top sites are digg and reddit, which are "social" news sites that post almost every Engadget and Gizmodo update to them.
