Screen grabs from a copier touch screen interface?

Tutorialfilter: Is it possible to capture "screen grabs" from the touch screen of a Xerox Workcentre 5655?

I'm trying to build a set of tutorials for a new staff member, and I really want to be able to show screen grabs from our own touch screen. I can't find info on how to do this anywhere. Thanks!

Have you considered photographing the screen?

At my office, we resorted to photographing the screen for this and other Workcentre models. It wasn't entirely easy but we were able to get some decent looking images.

There should be a web interface for this thing -- load its IP address into a browser. I can't honestly remember if it's this unit or the HP that I also worked on last week, but one of them shows (in a GIF or JPEG) what the control panel is displaying at that moment. You could either grab that image or do a screen capture.

Best answer: Unfortunately, the 5655's web interface does not contain an image of the touchscreen display.
