Looking for the next "Half the Sky"

Looking for books similar to Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn's "Half the Sky." Recommendations?

I'm only 60 pages into "Half the Sky" but I love it already. It's incredibly engaging and inspiring and I know I'll be sad when it ends, so I'm looking for the next great book to read. Books about women's rights or women's issues would be ideal, but books more generally about human rights, poverty, or international aid would also be good.

Thanks for your suggestions!

You probably want to read "The Bottom Billion" by Paul Collier, and "The White Man's Burdern" by Bill Easterly.

I'd suggest both of Greg Mortenson's books: Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools.

You have probably already read Mountains Beyond Mountains, but if not, you should.

The Life You Can Save by Peter Singer. Muhammad Yunus has written books on microlending. Also, I have heard good things about The Blue Sweater but haven't read it.
