B and B in Woodstock?

Can anyone recommend a b and b or a hotel in Woodstock, NY?
Our first choice, the Inn at the Millstream, is booked, and the two other trips I've taken to that area I found hotels online--both of which had a serious mildew stench and insect problems. So I reach out to you, folks who may have stayed in B and Bs or hotels/motels in that area: can you suggest an odor-free, bug-free place to stay for a getaway weekend this weekend? The less expensive, the better, without heading into Motel 6 territory.

You might want to consider Bearsville as an option, and taking the shuttle to Woodstock; from what I remember, municipal parking fills up pretty quickly in the summer, in addition to entailing a fee.

I have found tripadvisor as a good source to both find places and read customer reviews. We used it to book a B&B for our wedding and the place was great.

Best answer: We had a perfectly lovely time staying at River Run B&B in Fleischmanns, NY, just up the road from Woodstock. We noticed neither odor nor bugs; some rooms are pet-friendly but some are not.

We stayed at the Twin Gables B&B on our bike trip up the Hudson - it was pretty nice. No visible bugs. I can't remember whether it smelled; when we got there we had just done a 70 mile day, and I was ready to shower and nap.
If you stay in Woodstock, go to the vegetarian restaurant (I forget what it's called) right off the roundabout in the center of town. Their black bean and sweet potato burger is sensational.

Wasn't there a B and B with "Rose" in the name? Cafe on the Green--was that the vegetarian restaurant? Joshua's isn't exclusively vegetarian but recommended.

I stayed at the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream two summers ago and it was absolutely beautiful, close to the centre of town and reasonably priced. Breakfast included, and the cabin was lovely, beautifully clean and set in landscaped gardens.

Check out The House On The Quarry at Opus 40 at Saugerties. Horrible website, but stunning location.

Response by poster: Thanks all--we're trying the River Run! The price is right, they allow kids, and they have a vacancy. Done and done.
