In the process of reformatting my resume in Microsoft Word 2008 for Mac and having some technical difficulties with. Your expertise please!

This is my resume that I am currently working on. Here's what I am trying to do:

1) I am trying to take advantage of the space I have next to my client list (see what I have circled in the link) by bullet pointing in a horizontal manner, on the same line. How do I do so (I want to keep the bullets)?

2) In regards to adjust the margins, I am aware of the ruler above the document itself, but it does not seem very precise. Is there another method that is easier/more precise than playing it by eye?

Thanks!

1. You can find a bullet separator by going to Insert -> Symbol and then using the round bullet found several rows directly below the 5. (Or any other bullet, several of which should be available. Make sure it's either the same as or complementary to your other bullets; don't use square bullets everywhere and then round bullets in the horizontal line.

Personally, I wouldn't do this. I've been told not to use bullets at all, but ymmv. Instead, just say, "current clients include Showtime Networks, Spike and Comedy Central."

2. Format -> Document -> Margins.

What do you mean, in your first question?

For your second question, the precise settings are in the Paragraph dialog box. Highlight the text, then view the Page Layout tab. Click the launcher (the small, downward facing arrow) to open the dialog box, and then choose your settings.

(Or, you know, Paragraph instead of Document, as Houstonian said.)
