background noise in original

Does anyone know if the soft, intermittent clicking in the background (of all tracks) on Departure Lounge's album "Jetlag Dreams" is an intentional effect that exists on the original? I burned a copy from a friend, I want to buy the album cuz I love it, but I find the clicks distracting. Would like to know in advance if it's just some sort of artifacting from the copying process.

You could try listening to the samples on Amazon.com or iTunes Music Store to see if you hear then there.

I just threw my copy on and did not hear any clicking, intermittent or otherwise. I thinks you got yourself an artifact.
