Where can I get information about a disturbance on an airline flight?

I need to find out about an incident that took place on a domestic air flight recently. The involved party was subsequently confined forcibly to a psychiatric ward and given heavy medication, so details on that end are fuzzy.

What blogs and message boards do flight crews and airline passengers post in actively? Where are good resources for tracking down incident reports of this nature? Are there any blogs that aggregate inflight disturbances? The local and national presses haven't recorded the event, so I'm looking for inside and non-traditional channels that might help flesh things out a bit.

A very bad thing has happened to someone I love very much. I'd be grateful for your help in putting the pieces back in order.

It may have appeared here: http://avherald.com/ or at http://www.flyertalk.com/
There is at least one pilot board that I've run across before but can't find, though I'm sure I saw it on the Green or Blue. Good luck.

This recent thread has some good resources for inside info on aviation.

For passengers and the occasional flight attendant, FlyerTalk. I am surprised at how often someone will ask about a specific incident and someone else will say that they were on the flight in question.

For crews, PPRuNe.

I apparently have visited previously PPRuNe. Airline Pilot Forums is quite active. Both found via a google search for pilot forums.

It'll help if you know relevant airline codes.

Definitely check the ASRS database, as flight attendents, pursers, and aircrew often submit reports of scuffles on planes. There is incentive for employees to submit writeups here since they receive immunity if an FAA regulation was accidentally broken. The only downside is you may have to wait weeks or months for it to appear, and due to their non-attribution policy, exact specifics about time, place, or airline are not always present.

I've just been to the Aviation Herald; unruly is likely the search term you're looking for.

As a frequent reader of the Aviation Herald, I second "unruly" and also "Medical Emergency."
