Question for my therapist

Is there something you would like to ask your therapist, but are reluctant, perhaps even afraid to ask?

It is quite common for clients to want to know more about me and my life outside of our sessions. However many patients have indicated that they were reluctant to ask. Some told me they thought that was a "rule" of therapy. Others reported they were afraid to ask. Obviously there can be many reasons for why someone doesn't ask a question. So I wanted to hear from others who may be sitting on a question they wish they could ask their therapist but might be afraid or reluctant to ask.
