What is the font used for the headings at www.viceland.com?

Maybe you're talking about different headings than what I'm seeing, but according to the CSS, they're just plain old Georgia.

No, they are definitely Georgia. Clarendon Black is not a font most people would have on their system, and it's not specified in the style sheet. And the headings are text, not images, so it can't be a font that most people wouldn't have.

Firebug confirms the font-stack: "Georgia", Helvetica, sans-serif

Yeah, that's not Clarendon Black. Look at this page... type "DOS & DON'TS" as your sample text and compare against the menu item of the same name. Note the ampersand and apostrophe are different, in particular. Now try Georgia with the same text. Bingo!
