Weird MTV animated short from late 90s

Does anyone remember this weird animated short video that aired during MTV commercial breaks in the mid-late 90s?

It was maybe 2-4 minutes long, and the whole thing was about these weird alien creatures that looked kind of like ostriches, with these suction cup mouths. They all ate some fruit off of a tree, which made them fart, and the farting propelled them into the sky. Eventually there is only one left and it looks sad...

That isn't quite as clear of a description as I'd hoped I'd come up with, but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about...

Just FYI - there is a video game based on the physics of ingesting and expelling gas: Osmos. No ostrich legs, but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

Trivia time:
"Gas Planet" was animated by Eric Darnell who went on to co-write and co-direct several animated features for DreamWorks Animation. Eric also wrote the ditty "Welcome to Duloc" in the film "Shrek".

The short was produced at Pacific Data Images (now PDI/DreamWorks) and when I was a PA there, I dumped "Gas Planet" onto so many reels I can't even remember 'em all. This was in the pre-digital days so I had to learn how to thread the 1" reel video tape player correctly.

Ah, memories...
