How to publish my French teaching materials?

Publishing options for French teaching materials?

I am a French teacher and over several years have put together some story-based teaching units for my classes that have been huge hits. Each unit consists of a short story I have written myself, and some accompanying worksheets. I have shared some of these with other teachers who said they were very good and I should consider publishing them. I was happy to share them for free, but if there really is a market for them and I could make some extra money, that would be nice.

I have no idea what the options are. I have some experience with the traditional publishing market in English as I used t work in journalism, but I know nothing about the French publishing market. Would I be better submitting the stories to regular French publishers and trying to get them published as straight picture books? Or are there educational publishers who specialize in the FSL/teaching market and might be interested in a package deal selling the stories and worksheets together? Is self-publishing my best bet? Are there agents who deal with such things? Any and all ideas are welcome.

I did some layout work on a textbook for Guérin in Montreal a few years ago. They publish a lot of school texts. Unfortunately I can't help with contact info, but you could email and ask if they'd consider it.

In France, the acronym for FSL is FLE (Français Langue Etrangère). A google search gives Hachette and Didier as important publishers.
I think that these websites may give you more information.
