What's up with PayPal?

Is there a problem with PayPal right now, or is it just me?

I just won an auction on ebay, and when I clicked on the login to PayPal button from ebay, I got an hourglass and then it just hung forever. I exited the tab and tried again a couple of times. Same thing each time.

Then, I tried going to PayPal directly by entering "paypal.com" in my browser address bar, and I get a PayPal site that's all in Chinese characters.

I tried going to the PayPal Customer Service site from ebay, and I also get a PayPal page with all Chinese characters.

Is anything like this happening to anyone else right now?

Or is this just me? Could I have a weird setting or a virus or ??

I'm not having problems with other sites.

I'm on Windows and use Firefox version 3.6.3.

Did you visit any questionable Chinese sites recently?

Nthing Malware Bytes. It's redirecting you. This has happened to me before with Google search results. The first link would always redirect me somewhere else. Good luck!

Response by poster: Never mind. I'm fine now. I tried to reset my password awhile ago from another computer away from home, and that sent my PayPal account into limbo land.

It's all good now.

Sorry for wasting everybody's time (and my weekly question quota).

BTW, although I don't know how it got set to Chinese in the first place, I was able to get it reset using a dropdown on the upper right hand of the Paypal home screen that let me select language.

I would still check your computer. Better safe than sorry and all that.
