Is there any place to buy raw whiskey in Toronto?

Looking to buy some raw whiskey. Is there any place in Toronto where we can make this happen?

What do you mean by "raw whiskey"?

Are you sure you don't mean Rye Whisky?

If you do, any liquor store will have it. Canadians usually just call it Rye.

(raw whiskey == moonshine)

Response by poster: Yes, dunkadunc is correct. Unbarrelled whiskey is what I'm looking for, but not "moonshine" in the sense that I'm not looking for illegally produced raw whiskey.

I've seen it called "white whiskey" and there's a distiller called Belmont Farms in Culpepper, VA who makes it.

Heaven Hill Distilleries makes a corn whiskey aged "less than 30 days old" called Georgia Moon. I'm not sure if they distribute to Canada.

If there's an answer, it'll be "LCBO." Have you searched their website?

Try Honest Ed's.

Response by poster: Wakka, wakka, wakka, Beardman.

Sys Rq, you reminded me that I had the contact information for the PR rep at the LCBO and on emailing her, I learned that the LCBO does not carry raw whiskey at this time. However, if anyone can point me in the direction of a bar that offers raw whiskey to drink by the glass, I'd be happy to hear of it.
