Seeking college financial aid advisor in New York City

Does anybody know of a good college financial aid advisor in New York City? That is, someone who can help with the financial aid application process?
The FAFSA is generally easy and straightforward to fill out. If you're running into speedbumps, it might be best to contact the financial aid department of whatever college/university you'd be attending. They are usually happy to help even potential students apply for federal financial aid.

Response by poster: This is for our son, who will be applying next fall. I'm not talking about getting help filling out the forms, though that's part of it. I want a sophisticated advisor who can discuss things like:
-Is our retirement savings considered available funds for college tuition and therefore will interfere with our getting financial aid?
-Can a college tell you you can't get aid because you could take out a home equity loan to pay tuition?
-How much earned income is too much income? Do business assets "count"?
etc.
We want to learn how much, if any, aid we can expect to get, and if there are things we need to be putting into place now so that our application will be as aid-friendly as possible next year?
I will look up Kal Chany, and any other suggestions welcome. thank you.
