how do I insert multiple photos into a blog post?

how can I insert multiple photos into a Wordpress blog post? Right now it takes 5-6 clicks per photo, and it's driving me nuts. Note that I do not need a gallery, but rather I need to be able to select multiple images that would be inserted into the blog post one after another, so I could add text to each of them later. Thank you so much!!!!

If you are running Windows, check out Windows Live Writer. It is a fantastic blogging client. Drag and drop your pictures in, or do a multiple select. Then add your comments and hit publish. Takes a few seconds.

You will need to change one setting in your blog admin panel to allow Writer to publish, but it will give you the details the first time you try to publish.
