I'm looking for stories on the web. February 15, 2005 9:11 AM Subscribe
I have free time during the day, and I love to pass it with a good story. Since I can't often make it to the library, I'm looking for stories on the web. I'm familiar with literature.org and classicauthors.net. Are there any other sites MeFiers can recommend? posted by Miss Bitchy Pants to computers & internet (15 comments total)
Ploughshares has a pretty good archive. More poetry than fiction, but what fiction there is, is usually great. posted by scratch at 9:34 AM on February 15, 2005

A self-link to my entry: literaturepage.com - I'm adding a bunch more books this week. The idea is to make a more readable and usable site for online reading. posted by mmoncur at 1:44 PM on February 15, 2005

Amidst all the cruft and factoids and weirdness there hides some of the best fiction and non-fiction writing I've found yet, and I read a lot writing on the web. Wander around and you'll find some favorites. posted by loquacious at 6:43 PM on February 15, 2005
