Where do I find a market for old clipart?

I have about 600, 11x17 pages of black & white clip art from the early nineties. The illustrations were professionally done (printed by a clip art service called "Clipper") and are copyright free. Is there a market for this art?

I purchased the clip art over a period of 2 years, about 20 pages at a time. It was prior to the time that clip art was available on CDs. I scanned it for use in a desktop publishing business that I started in the mid 80's. I closed the business in the mid 90's and now have 2 very large books of beautiful art that serves no purpose. I did a Google search and also looked on eBay, but can see no buying/selling going on for this art vintage. Does anyone know a) if it has any value and, b) is there a market for it and how do I locate it?

Many thanks for any help from the Metafilter community!

Are you sure those are not (as 99.99% of stock photos, cliparts and such material usually is) "royalty free"? That usually bars you from reselling.

It is very doubtful this is worth anything in the days of hopping online and downloading clip art for free or near free. Sorry.

Maybe you could find an artist on Craigslist who would like to cut it up and use it as part of their art.

_dario is probably right, it's probably royalty free, but if it truly is copyright free, you might be able to sell it on Etsy.com
