DC Therapist Recommendations

Need recommendations for DC-area therapists who accept Aetna.
Many of the names listed in Aetna's directory are outdated. So are the results on Psychology Today's search. Hoping someone on here has firsthand knowledge of a provider. For what it's worth, it's for depression, I don't care if they can prescribe medication or not, and gender, etc. is unimportant (although I'd prefer someone middle-aged or younger). Would prefer someone in downtown DC.

I'll second exogenous' recommendation as one of my dear friends is one of the therapists. I also know that that friend's former colleague (whom I saw for a while and is WONDERFUL) will work with insurance companies (it will be out of network, but I find that that's often what you deal with in finding a good, recommended therapist).
He's also Dupont Circle, 18th and R.
