Can you recommend a free Outlook duplicate remover?

Thanks to the recent iTunes update, my Outlook 2007 calendar is riddled with duplicates. Both the free apps I know about haven't worked properly and I'm loath to pay money for such a simple application. Do you have any recommendations?
I have over 2,000 duplicates so doing this manually would have to be a last resort.
I've tried the Southsea Duplicate Remover and ODIR - the former crashes 4% into the task and the latter locks up Outlook 2007 as soon as you press the "remove duplicates" menu option.
Recommendations for a free application that actually works would be appreciated!

Assuming the calendar-syncing portion of iTunes (with ipod or iphone) messed up Outlook. In case you don't find a better option, this sounds like a perfect job for a computer-responsible kid to make a few bucks.

Best answer: view / arrange by / current view / events.
right click the gray column bar at top / customize view
click fields / pull down date/time fields / add "Created" field / click ok / click ok
sort by created, most recent first
in all likelihood your duplicates will all have been created when you did the sync (double check this by resorting temporarily by "subject"
once you've double checked, you can mass-select the recent creations, and delete
