I Really Want To Use This "Adepts of Hermes" Card

I'd like to play Illuminati:New World Order online with friends. How can I do this?

I own the "One With Everything" factory set for Illuminati:New World Order, and I've never had the chance to play. This game looks like a mountain of fun and I'd like to be able to play online.

While I'm sure there is no dedicated online version, is anyone aware of a service, site or system that facilitates online play of CCGs in general?

Failing that, what programs or websites have you used in the past to make online play of CCGs possible?

Never used it, but the VASSAL engine is designed for card as well as board games including (so they say) by email.

Best answer: No, unless Eris deceives me, there exists no dedicated online version of Illuminati. Considering some of the bizarre rules, I have doubts that it's fully amenable to online play. At least not by normals.

However, there are some frameworks that might allow crafty sorts to play this game with requisite efforts. Read tutorials, script plugins, beg, pray, unpray. Whatever works.

General CCG playing software:
LackeyCCG
GCCG
OCTGN

Virtual tabletops:
GameTable
Gamegineer
JTable
OpenRPG

M:TG aimed, but I read might support other games:
Magic Workstation
Apprentice / Apprentice 2 / DaringApprentice
Scroll Rack

All of the above likely require creating rulesets and adding in custom card data. These linksmight help.

Maybe you'd be better off looking for local, in the flesh gamers. Try here. Or at gaming conventions. I've seen some gaming done over IRC or Ventrilo too.

I played in one, months-long, play by email game, with someone having set up a dedicated server for dice rolls, private emails (i.e. negotiations, etc.)...single-deck rules. Google might still find the instructions of how to do that...I know I saw them once for deck-based play.

I can confirm that the game is fun and, if I didn't have an imminently due infant, might try to set something up with you. All my cards are in storage at the moment, but not inaccessible.
