Could it be that once again you are angry for something else, and you are taking it out on me?

My wife has never yelled at me before. In fact she's been very evenly keeled for most of the time we've been together. I'm a funny guy and I was quoting some great lines from Three Amigos when she just hit the roof. I'm still shaking from it. I've never seen her like that before. She was screaming that I was so annoying with my stupid Three Amigos lines and why can't I just be myself and they're not funny anyway. She even started throwing things. So what I want to know is, what are some other movies I can quote great lines from so that she won't hit the roof again?

This post was deleted for the following reason: Any movie is funnier than Three Amigos. This is easily Google-able. -- vacapinta

Try Monty Python. She'll love that shit.

Some people (like me) find quoting movies to be a really irritating habit. Unless you know the other person is also really into that movie for whatever reason, it can come across as incredibly self-indulgent, especially when done frequently. Different strokes for different folks, and I'm not saying your wife necessarily has an objective reason for going off on you, but it could just be that she hates having to hear quotes and would prefer some humor that requires actual creativity.
