Strategies for geo-strategy?

Monitor 360 does the kind of work I'd like to do. Help me find similar companies.

I'm interested in the type of issues and clients that Monitor 360 deals with. What are some other companies that do the same type of work? I am interested in any company, regardless of location, but I'm particularly interested in companies in the NY area.

Also, what are some key search terms I can use to target these types of geo-strategic analysis jobs on job search sites? I'm finding my current searches are too broad and I have to wade through a lot of irrelevant postings.

Monitor 360 is an offshoot of Monitor, a strategy consulting firm. While there are companies that may deal exclusively with geo-strategy, you may want to go to the larger firms (Monitor, Bain, McKinsey, BCG) and see if they have geo-strategy projects. Most do, as scenario planning (which is a lot of what Monitor 360 does) is a big part of that type of work. Plus, it's easier to get into a big firm and put yourself into a niche than to get into a niche company.

I work for a niche firm, and I have friends who work for big firms, and I totally disagree with that statement.

kjars, my company does what you're looking for. I don't want to advertise us on MeFi, so I'll shoot you a MeMail with details.
