Help me find an online game I played once.

I played this match-3 game online once, and now I can't find it. Description inside...
I can't believe I'm using my weekly question on this, but it was a really fun game!
Plot-wise, you're a young wizard (?) on a quest to do something - what, I don't remember. You go along paths in a kingdom and come across enemies along the way (not unlike Frontier), but when you meet an enemy, you go to a play screen where there's a match-3 board. Every time you matched, the enemy got a hit.
Eventually you got to the end of the quest where you went up against a wizard who sees that you use dark magic and bars you from exploring anymore.
I've searched armorgames and kongregate with no success and tried every search term I can think of, and am coming up empty. Hopefully this is someone's favorite waste of time, and can point me at it.

Response by poster: violetish: I was hopeful, but it's not on there.
memo: Not Puzzle Quest, though the gameplay is pretty similar. The one I'm looking for isn't as stylized, it's more fairy-tale like with cartoonish characters.
Also thought to mention - it was free gameplay online, no download required.
