Dynamic fundraising thermometer script?!

I am interested in helping a group implement an online fundraising drive, and would like use a dynamically generated fundraising "bat"/"thermometer", ideally with a custom graphic for their org... click on the graphic and donate. Ideally, the graphic could be embedded on various websites, shared on Facebook, linked to on twitter, etc. We can probably tweak the graphics if we had access to the code. Any ideas?! Is there any kind of free code out there that could do this?

There's quite a few out there that have code available:

not sure how customizable chipin is, but i know a good number of people who have used it and gotten good results -- there is a widget, but not sure how much you can change it...

chipin overview

fwiw, chipin has this to say about fees: "ChipIn does not charge any fees to organizers and contributors of events that send payments directly to the Organizer’s PayPal account. However, PayPal Premier or Business accounts may be subject to fees from PayPal."
