Help Refinish My Table!

Help me strip and re-seal my outdoor patio table made of stone!

My stone patio table's finish is flaking off (see photo here). This is an outdoor table. You'll notice the finish is coming off in circles... the edges of each circle has a white or clear flakey material... I can pick it off if I try.

The table is natural stone (purchased for a great fortune at Crate & Barrel many years ago). I'd like recommendations on what I can do to strip the old sealant/finish and apply a new one.

Look into strippers and sealers designed for stone floors or countertops. First google result for natural stone stripper gets me this.
