lawyer needed

Can you recommend a child support lawyer for the Hamilton County/Cincinnati area?

I need a child support lawyer in the Hamilton County/Cincinnati area. I am the non-custodial parent (dad) of a teenager and I need a lawyer to help with a situation that has gotten contentious between the child's mother and I with the help of the State. Things are rapidly approaching unworkable for me, even though I have been stellar with support payments. Each time I get a foothold, the rug is yanked from underneath me. The kicker was the State saying "you got a bachelor's degree in Psychology - therefore you can be a Psychologist, so we are immediately tripling the amount you must pay, based on a Psychologist's salary" and absolutely ignoring my pleas to the contrary. I'm looking for personal recommendations of lawyers you know or are familiar with, who do good work. I will be doing research on my own as well, but I need help. Email is inneedofalawyer at gmail. Thank You.

I'd check Martindale Hubbell and look for lawyers with an "A" rating. They are supposedly the best according to peer ratings. You can also call your local bar association and see if they have a lawyer referral service.

You might want to check out Fathers and Families, a nonprofit that advocates on behalf of fathers in the family law area.

Here's a their form for people looking for help with family law problems. They might be able to give you a referral.

Two words:

Eric Deters.

They don't call him 'The Bulldog' for nothing.
