Apartment leasing agent needed

Can anyone recommend an apartment rental agent or broker for someone trying to rent out an apartment in Evanston?

I'm currently renting out an apartment in Evanston, but my tenants are leaving. I found these tenants by showing the apartment myself back when I lived in it, but now I live near Boston, so I can't do that this time.

Paying a whole month's rent to an agent seems excessive to me, but if that's the going rate, I'd at least like to make sure that I get my money's worth out of it and get good reliable tenants as early as possible.

If you've had a good experience with an agent, preferably as the landlord, I'd like to hear it.

Evanston *where*? There are Evanstons in a lot of states. Do you mean Evanston just north of Chicago? You say you're in Boston, which confuses things.

Response by poster: Oh, sorry about that. Yes, Evanston, IL. I live in Boston, a thousand miles away.

I believe Northwestern has an off-campus rental/sabbatical rental resource. I'm sorry I don't have the link at my fingertips, but I'm sure that just a bit of googling could unearth it.
