[FontFilter] Help find old style fonts for Windows: AvantGarde CondBook and B Avant Garde Demi.

Posting this for an editor friend of mine:

I need to revise some graphic files from PageMaker 6.5. However, there are two fonts missing, specifically: AvantGarde CondBook and B Avant Garde Demi . I no longer have these fonts in my Windows -->fonts and have been unable to find these exact fonts free or for purchase anywhere online. Using a comparable font would mean re-formatting the entire piece, in this case a book, and I would like to avoid that timesuck at all costs.

I found and uploaded AvantGarde Condbook for you:

The other font... does "B" mean bold? I found a font called Avant Garde Demi but am not sure what the B means.

Best answer: it means bold. also, avant garde is not a free font, and ITC would not be pleased to see you publicly stating that you're giving their wares away. watch yo'self. you can buy it here.

Here are a lot of Avant Garde fonts, maybe one of these is the right one?

I found one called "AvantGarde-Demi Regular" -- perhaps this is the second font you mention? I uploaded it here:

Hope this helps.

Sorry, didn't realize the fonts weren't free, better to buy them then, I've removed the downloads for my own protection.

Response by poster: Ah, thanks for the links and info. Perhaps the mods can edit that question to remove the ideally free bit. She's looking at buying it now. Now to get PageMaker to recognize it.

Mod note: edited the question, thanks for being decent about this everyone.
