I finally regret ditching cable.

Where in Chicago can I watch the USA vs Canada Men's Hockey match on Sunday?

I'm looking for a bar that will be screening the game. Preferably a bar north of the Loop near the Red Line that has good (American craft) beer.

Do you need to go out to see the game?

ctvolympics.ca (a local Vancouver station rather than the country-wide cbc) will run the game online (although I have no idea if you need a Canadian proxy to see it) and it's resolution and bandwidth exceeded my expectations. You'll need to install silverlight, though. myp2pforum.eu will have links to various online streaming links for it as well (most will be from CNBC, if tonight's Can/Nor game is any indication).

The CTV play-by-play/colour guys were leagues better than the CNBC guys, but that may very well change for a USA/Canada game.

The best you will be able to do is to find a place that is going to show the NBC Olympic coverage, which I would expect would mostly show the game, possibly on some sort of delay, probably with cutaways to other sports, definitely with insipid commentary.

There should be plenty of places around Wrigley if that's your thing. It should be relatively easy to find a bar showing the Olympics, certainly one on the Red Line, and most places will have at least a few passable offerings in the microbrew department. If you truly want craft beer see which places have the usual local suspects on tap: Two Brothers, Metropolitan, Half Acre, etc.

Can't really do that with a hockey game. Anyway, NBC's Olympic site confirms that the game will be broadcast on MSNBC at 6pm CT.
