PocketPCfilter: My mother and I have the same model Asus 716 Pocket PCs. I tried to beam a file over to hers from mine by IR. Hers asked if I wanted to receive the file, but not where I wanted to put it. It didn't land in My Documents and Find File can't find it. It may still be taking up space and it's not small. Anyone know where it went?

I don't know anything about Pocket PCs specifically, but from using other handhelds, maybe it was dumped in the foreground app, and is thus embedded in a document?

Three suggestions: 1) Try a soft reset and then look for the file. 2) Download a better file explorer (e.g., Resco Explorer or PE File Explorer or ...) and 3) if still no luck, ask in the Pocket PC magazine forum (very friendly, active forum).
