Tiling Window Managers for Microsoft Windows? Any Recommendations?

Doing some more research into tiling window managers, and playing around with them in linux, I found out that i really love them! However, my searches for tiling window managers in MS Windows have been kind of depressing. The ones that seem ok are shareware and do not seem to be maintained or are just horribly outdated. I am kind of surprised there are not many out there since it seems like such a useful feature.

For those of you who have had experience with this stuff do you have any recommendations? thanks.

I've been a happy user of WinSplit Revolution for a couple years. It doesn't automatically lay out windows, but it does provide simple and intuitive key shortcuts for arranging windows.

I'm head over heels for wmii and would love to find a competent Windows substitute. bug.n was the nicest Windows TWM I found. That said, I uninstalled it after 5 minutes. Being the best Windows TWM is not saying much, unfortunately.

Perhaps you'll like it more than I!

Best answer: I was inspired to try bug.n again and it's not as bad as I recalled. Give it a shot!
