My Father's Dragon Anime!

I am reading the "My Father's Dragon" collection to my son, and I recently discovered that there was an anime released in 1997 called Elmer no Bouken: My Father's Dragon. I want to find a copy of it. I searched google and amazon, but I can find no record of it. Can anyone help me out?

That movie was never licensed for North American release.

maybe try posting on the forums at animesuki which is a fan-subtitled anime website. They may be able to direct you to an unofficial version with subtitles?

I looked and couldn't find any torrents, either, but my search wasn't exactly comprehensive.

thanks for checking I myself googled for torrents . But what I was actually thinking of was, going to the forums at animesuki (here's a better link), registering if need be, and asking the folks if anyone knows if this series was ever fansubbed.
