Why has google talk forsaken me?

My Google talk is broken, any idea how to fix it?

Since 12/28/2009, I can't connect to google talk. I've tried it from multiple computers on multiple networks. I don't have a firewall at home, which is one of the locations its not working, so that can't be the problem. My G1 google phone cannot connect to google talk either. All other google services seem to be working, including google wave.

- in igoogle and gmail, it continuously says "loading".
- in my g1 phone, it says "cannot connect to server".
- in the google talk app on windows, it continuously says "connecting" but occasionally switched to "signing in" for a brief second before going back to "connecting"
- meebo acts like it signed in but does not show any contacts in the contact list.

I've tried:
-logging out and back in again.
-clearing cookies
-clearing my browser cache
-logging in from different networks
-different browsers (firefox and chrome)
-reseting my password
-doing googles captcha unlock
-posting to the google talk help forum
-contacting google via: http://google.com/support/chat/bin/request.py?contact_type=chat_im_not_delivered

I am at a complete loss as to what I can do about this. Are there any other things I haven't tried I can try? Any better ways to get in touch with google and ask what the hell is going on with my account?

What about someone else's google account on the same computers?

Sometimes it helps to change the settings in a web app to restore the proper settings. So try to uninstall the google talk plugin, change your camera or change something like the sound settings to see if it resets it to the proper settings.
