And also, having them packaged? posted by mudpuppie at 10:29 AM on January 21, 2005
well you probably already came upon this site. andgor.com
But it looks cool! Looks like it's basically custom heads on top of a 12" Action figure. But that may be all you need? And the more you buy the cheaper it gets...but initially this will cost some bucks.
Here's one link you may want to check out from an earlier query. (And you know you're going to have to show us what you came up with later!) posted by taz at 11:02 AM on January 21, 2005
Thanks for the link, Taz. Sorry for not searching. I figured chances of someone having asked before were nil, but of course that was a stupid assumption.

Show you? Hell, I'm going to sell them to you! posted by mudpuppie at 11:10 AM on January 21, 2005
It's really a mathowie action figure, isn't it??!!?? posted by FlamingBore at 12:06 PM on January 21, 2005
hah! No, don't worry, mudpuppie — I don't think agregoli was looking for production as well, so I wasn't making a "double" complaint at all. It is kind of funny though... What are the chances? Great minds. posted by taz at 12:43 PM on January 21, 2005

Better! (If you can believe it.)
Thanks again for the help. posted by mudpuppie at 12:48 PM on January 21, 2005
DO NOT USE ANDGOR. They are notorious in the action figure collecting community.
Wow, MegoSteve -- thanks! posted by mudpuppie at 2:57 PM on January 21, 2005
Is it going to be one of those poseable porn action figures? I'll take two! posted by graventy at 5:18 PM on January 21, 2005
Talk to the Mold-A-Rama people. They'll make custom molds then lease (or sell) you the machine so you can watch them get done right in front of you -- or set up the machine where anyone can drop a quarter and get an action figure. (Link from MeFe) posted by aedra at 6:58 PM on January 21, 2005
On preview: Mold-A-Rama probably isn't what you're looking for. It'd be interesting though! posted by aedra at 7:01 PM on January 21, 2005
Anyone have experience commissioning these, procuring an artist, etc? Have an idea of the cost? Know where I can get it done?
Thanks much.
