Instant Noodles Nepal Style

I have a huge craving for instant noodles the way they are prepared in Nepal (specifically Katmandu) by street vendors. I can get Wai Wai Noodles here in New York, but don't know what else to include. I remember egg, but there were also additional spices and ingredients. Help!

i dont know what kind of noodles u ate, but there was a wai wai vendor at the neighbourhood market sometime back(in india). they cooked it with onions and tomatoes. sometimes they added corriander n peas. there was one option where they didn't cook or boil it, added raw onions, tomatoes and lemon juice.
just try to remember as many ingredients, and then i would suggest you saute the vegetables in some oil, break the egg into them, add the water and the seasonings inside the pack and then follow the usual instructions. people love instant noodles where i live and cook them in more ways than i can count. but that's the usual recipe.

You might like this book or one of the others by the same authors. I'm not sure if any of them have the recipe you are looking for but they do talk about making noodles from scratch.

There are a number of recipes online for Thukpa and Milligatawny, both of which are traditional Nepalese noodle soups.
