Vibraphone pop/rock songs with vocals?

Looking for pop/rock songs featuring the vibraphone, requirements...

  • must have vocals
  • pop / rock only (no jazz / electronic / folk / country)
  • vibraphones only (no related instruments like the xylophone / marimba)
So pretty much the opposite of the previously asked vibraphone questions.

The J. Davis Trio does vibraphones, but they're mostly hip-hop.

Paul Weller used vibes on 'Heavy Soul'.

The band Aloha had a lot of vibraphone in their music. I don't think this is so much the case in their more recent albums, but the first few have plenty of vibes.

Haircut 100 -- Love Plus One. Sounds like vibraphone, but not sure. Catchy pop song though.

Several songs on the Beach Boys' album Pet Sounds. Discogs.com gives instrumentation for every song -- search for "vibraphone."

Gone Daddy Gone by the Violent Femmes (link is to a live performance - which gives a good low-down on how to do rock vibes I think)

Tortoise has vibes, but they fail your first criterion and maybe your second. But pair them up with Bonnie "Prince" Billy and you get a lovely version of "Pancho."

"Spiraling Shape" by They Might Be Giants uses a vibraphone, if I remember correctly.

There's vibraphone in a couple of my songs. It's all over The Battle of Agincourt, which you can stream here, and there's also a vibraphone section towards the end of Things I Used to Know, which technically isn't released yet, but can be streamed from here.

Ani DiFranco's album Red Letter Year (2008) features Mike Dillon on vibes. Live videos here and here.

Tim Buckley: Dream Letter Live in London has some groovy guitar/bass/vibes/vocals stuff:

oh sorry, some would classify Tim Buckley as a folkie, but he is a kinda poppy folkie.

if your list tolerates old-school disco, France Joli: Come to Me.

Pop disco OK? Then the Trevor Horn remix of ABC's "The Look of Love" is quite awesome.

Also pretty good: Playground Love by Air.
