Is this creepy e-mail just spam?

Please tell me this creepy e-mail I just got was a spam. Has anyone ever heard anything like it?

I just got an email from an AOL address I've never seen before, addressed to my real first name (but I use Indigo below). Neither of my spam filters (Mailwasher and Thunderbird 3) caught it.

The subject line was "Indigo, I hope this isn't a mistake."

Here is the text:

hi Indigo.. I can not take in I'm actually doing this. Actually starting
this mail makes me scared. Actually I dont even know if I'll send it.
Alright Ill say it..... I feel things for u. I thought up this plan for revealing who i am ..I started writing a blog post for you .... invisible blog for Indigo. It kind of is difficult for me to create this..... u'd know how come if u knew who this was .. but now I'm certain I should send it.

Please tell me this is just spam...

Response by poster: Well crap. It's spam. Mailwasher was hiding a link I didn't see. I'll get the mods to delete this asap.

It linked to this:

If you're reading this I guess you got my e-mail. I'm still not completely sure about this but I can't hide my feelings any longer. I want you to guess who I am and approach me yourself. To help you out with your guessing I made a few pictures and videos with Kathryn written on my body. Theyre kind of risque photos so I had to make a profile at spamwebsite and post them there. My username in the members area is ILuvKathryn09. Its a free website but you might need a CC or Debit to verify your age because I had to. Sigh. But anyway sign up at http://www.example.com and once you are inside search for me. I want you to guess who I am and then approach me yourself. Im shy and this is the bravest thing Ive probably ever done but you need to do the rest.

Was there a link in it?

Considering that there doesn't seem to be a product being sold and there doesn't seem to be a link in it, then it's probably legit.

I have a friend who got a similar email. She only told me about it; I didn't read the actual email, but it definitely contained her name and a reference to a blog post for you.

This sounds exactly like what she told me, so I'd say it's spam. She got a second email later that said he'd written her name all over his body and here's the link to the picture. Also, the 1st email had a link to the blog post, I think.
