Zingers!? Good Grief!

Does anyone know an actual store where I can buy Dolly Madison (now Hostess) Zingers in the greater Seattle area??

The Peanuts Christmas special always has a Pavlovian effect on me, and now I MUST find some Raspberry Zingers!! Since I want to try and find some in the next few days for the office holiday party (I was told this would elevate me to official "hero" status), I would prefer a brick and mortar store, rather than pay for overnight shipping.

I always used to find them at those weirdo, owner/operated corner shops. Like 7-11, except privately owned, and kinda grungey.

If I were on a hunt for raspberry Zingers, I would check the two such corner shops that immediately spring to mind: the Lander Street Shell station, and the Lake Forest Park Market.

Best answer: Man, I swear I have seen them at the Safeway at 85th and 15th in Ballard, though I have not looked in a while. On the Hostess rack, which is by the breads and hot dog buns. If I get back there in next couple days, will try to verify, but you could call. (206) 782-7464

Response by poster: Ooh, I live in the Ballard area, I will stop there on the way home tonight and see!

I thought about checking the grungier places, but the few times I have seen them in places like that they only had a few on hand. Ironically enough, they always seem to be the places that sell "water pipes" next to the motor oil...

Hm, the closest bakery outlet is in Everett, right next to my old school. I will have to make a special trip for that one. Thanks guys!

They also have them at the QFC in Interbay, on W. Dravus, and just up the street at the AM/PM at W. Dravus and 20th.

I have eaten Zingers from both places and they seemed reasonably fresh.
