Olympus LS-10 recorder repair?

Olympus LS-10 recorder repair? I can send it to Olympus but they want $85 (plus shipping) as a flat rate. There must be a cheaper option. Anyone know a spot in NYC that does repairs on such things? Thanks in advance.

What is broken about it? Without more info, it's hard to know who you should be going to.

Response by poster: The problem is that 4 of the buttons are not functioning. They don't respond at all. The record and playback buttons are working but the 4 others which include the menus and quality settings are just not registering. Could be a faulty circuit or wire (?) I don't want to open it up and risk damaging it any more.

Sorry to say this, but $85 doesn't seem surprisingly high. Try Analogique, Manhattan in the 20's. Hope you find cheaper but seems unlikely, esp. in NYC.
