Where would I find a black fedora and black sunglasses for a Blues Brothers costume by Saturday morning?

My friend and I are going as Jake and Elwood but we haven't found a hat or sunglasses yet.

How best can we track some down before Saturday without paying $85 for shipping?

Are there any department store that carry black fedoras on a regular basis?

This is a common enough costume that you should be able to find it in one of those halloween pop up stores in a strip-mall for $20 apiece, assuming you're in the U.S.

I live in DC so I'm sure there are a TON of stores around.

You should be able to buy a pair of cheap-o fake Ray-bans from a street vendor.

I've seen this specific costume in most of the seasonal Halloween stores I've been in.

If all else fails, check Target. They have been selling cheap fedoras in the guys section for a while, and you can probably find the fake Wayfarers in the accessories area.

Or Canada. One a block from my house in Calgary and they do indeed have Blues Brothers stuff.

Target indeed has cheap fedoras. And don't forget Goodwill - nothing's guaranteed there, but anything you find will be incredibly cheap.

The temporary Halloween stores (Spirit of Halloween, Halloween City, etc.) by me on Long Island have tons of cheapo felt hats - I think I've seen a fedora among them. And cheapo sunglasses.
