Chinese food ingredients in DC?

Does anyone know of anywhere in Bethesda or the DC Metro area in general where one could get Chinese food ingredients? I'm specifically looking for wonton wrappers.

Also, preferably someplace Metro accessible. Thanks.

There's Daruma in Bethesda, although it specializes in Japanese ingredients. (You should be able to find wonton wrappers there, though.)

There's also a Lotte Plaza near Wheaton.

In Maryland I usually saw wonton wrappers at Giant food stores in the produce section.

In NYC, sometimes I'll just go to my neighborhood chinese restaurant and get them to sell me some.

There's an H-Mart "near" Dunn Loring/Merrifield Metro on the Orange Line. I say "near" because it's about a ten minute walk down Gallows Rd, but that's the closest major Asian market I know to a Metro stop. There's also a smaller Asian market somewhere near Wheaton Metro but I forget the exact location now.

I was going to recommend one of the Super-H marts in Northern Virginia, Eden Center in Falls Church, or Daruma in Bethesda, but then I saw that you are just looking for wonton wrappers. I honestly can't think of a supermarket in the DC Metro area that does not carry wonton wrappers.

Seriously, you can find wonton wrappers at any reasonably sized, modern grocery store. Oddly, they are typically in the produce section, because they need to be refrigerated. Usually near the tofu.

The most metro-accessible grocery store of which I'm aware is the Wholefoods near the Friendship Heights station. I'm pretty sure I've bought wonton wrappers there.

Well besides just going to Trader Joe's, I'm gonna ditto the restaurant angle; one of my friends got fresh Mu Shu wrappers from Bob's 66 in rockville. Also in Rockville (close to Bob's actually) there's a Super-H mart.

I'd call around to decent places near you (in Bethesda er Friendship Heights I'd try Mei Wa).

The Giant in Hyattsville has them in the vegetable section with the greens. It's right near the PG Plaza Metro.

Bethesda - the Safeway on Old Georgetown Road near Woodmont. The Giant on Arlington Road and Bethesda Avenue. The Whole Foods on River Road. The Safeway is closest to the Metro stop.

In Houston, they're sold at Whole Foods.

Most grocery stores will stock something as mundane as wonton skins, for the DC area there are a lot of H-Marts, but they are really focused on Korean ingredients (which is good imho), but you wont find much Chinese stuff there. IN Merrifield (within walking distance of the metro, but I am not sure of it) there is a Chinese supermarket called Great Wall that will have everything you could reasonably expect ingredients wise. There is also another Chinese market off of little river turnpike called Dynasty that is much smaller than Great Wall but I am fond of none the less. I have never looked for one, but there has to be an assortment of Chinese markets in Rockville as that is the area where most of Greater DC Chinese population lives.
