Can I sync Entourage on my iBook with Outlook on my PC? January 3, 2005 7:12 PMSubscribe
Anyway to sync between Entourage on my iBook and Outlook on my PC? posted by mhaw to computers & internet (3 answers total)
As a Mac@home/PC@work user, I was really intrigued by the question so I did a bit of research and came up with blanks.
It just doesn't look like anyone has really tried to smooth the process out.
The best advice I found was to use an intermediary device, such as a Palm PDA, that can sync with both programs. To me, that's just a fugly hack.
I smell an opportunity for some software development... wish I could provide some immediate help. posted by C.Batt at 8:41 PM on January 3, 2005
mhaw and C.Batt, I too am forced to trudge though XP trenches at work. Judging by last year's alarming number of iPod-related FPP's, I suspect there are many Mac heads on MeFi who are in the same boat. Please let us know if there are any breakthroughs on this front. posted by mds35 at 8:11 AM on January 4, 2005
The only thing I've found that looks like it might be of any help are these scripts. I didn't try them as I was only after one, and it wasn't worth $20 for me. This is nowhere near a solution, and probably the most annoying thing is that in your case, Microsoft should be actively encouraging you to be syncing between these two apps. posted by modofo at 12:54 PM on January 4, 2005
