Where can you get yesterday's NYTimes?

How can I get a Sunday New York Times on Monday (in NY)?

My girlfriend (who is busy writing a paper) woke up and realized she should have gotten an issue of the NYTimes yesterday for a class today, but totally forgot.

Where is the best place (preferably around Hunter college at 68th St on the east side.) to try to get one?

I haven't done this in a while, but it used to be that newspapers only need to return the front banner of unsold copies to get credit for them. So, anywhere that sold newspapers would have the rest of the unsold paper left until they'll thrown away.

Go to a couple of the bodagas or newstands and see if they still have it. Good luck.

I'm posting this in the hopes someone else will know the place, as I can't remember much -

There's a place on the west side, I believe in the low 50s or high 40s, that's next to a thrift/junk shop that will have newspapers going back a week at least. Unfortunately I can't remember its name, or even what the exact business was (I was a messenger at the time just picking stuff up) - and it is not obvious from the front of the place that they would have newspapers. Also unfortunate is the neighborhood has changed so much that it (and the junk shop) may no longer be there. Wish I could be of more help, and I hope someone else knows what I'm talking about.

Borders bookstores sometimes have extras from the weekend.

Nthing cestmoi15...and including storefront newsstands. If she just needs info and not a physical clipping , she can use her college library (or NYPL if she has one) card to get what she needs.
