New slices from guides

Photoshop CS3 for Mac: Is there a way to create new slices from guides, without destroying existing slices?

Save a copy of the document and slice that one?. Or are you wanting to further delineate current slides?

Best answer: copy/paste existing slices to a new document. Slice them as needed. Repeat as required. Reassemble all slices when done.
