Online resources for learning BSL?

I'd like your recommendations for an online resource to learn the basics of British Sign Language.

I'm planning to attend a college course to learn BSL next September, but in the mean time I'd like something I can work through slowly on my own to get a feel for the basics (basic vocabulary, grammar and syntax).

Ideally it should be an actual course, rather than just a dictionary (i.e. with structured lessons, rather than just somewhere to look up signs for words).

I'm a total beginner and know nothing of BSL.

Google brings back several resources (for example this seems to be what I'm looking for) but I'm after feedback from people who have used an online or distance learning resource, and your thoughts on how good or bad, clear and easy to learn from, it was.

I'd prefer an online course, but CDs/DVDs would be ok.

Thank you!
