Looking for the best non-alcoholic mixed drink recipes. Most of the sites and/or books I've seen are lacking in the QA department. [MI]

I'm hoping I haven't missed this question from before.

I seem (unfortunately) to be unable to drink alcoholic drinks without experiencing dehydration and hangover symptoms an hour later. I was once at a bar that had a large list of great, non-alcoholic drinks, so I know they're out there. I thought I'd start building up a non-alcoholic bar and ordering these kinds of drinks at bars. Bonus points for drinks that can be produced with things regular bars have on hand. Even more bonus points for non-dairy and/or non-icre cream drinks (though I'd love to hear about those suggestions too!)

Write this in on a cue card:

Water : 5 finger of water.

Haha, just kidding. Here's a complete index of non-alcoholic drinks.

Damn, furtive. That's a pretty comprehensive list.

I like what I call the Mint Tingle (or Grasshopper) - mint syrup topped with cold 7Up.

Here's another one: Daydream - Orange juice, passionfruit syrup, and a touch of lime juice

How about Lemon, Lime, and Bitters (got it from Oz) - Lime cordial, 7up, with a dash of bitters on top (twist of lime optional). This has a nice "adult" taste.

I have more, but you caught me heading out to work.

Southampton: juice of half a lime, 2-3 dashes angostura bitters, tonic water, in collins glass. (Probably less violently sweet than madman's similar drink.)

Also works well with orange bitters.

Well you could try Madman's Lemon, Lime and Bitters, using Ginger Ale instead of the 7up (I can't stand tonic water myself).

My faviorate is the simple Orange and Bitter Lemon, add a splash of Grenadine for fun.

This isn't non-dairy, but I used to always drink Pints of Milk with Grenadine at my local.

When I don't want to drink, I order soda water on the rocks with a splash of Rose's Lime Juice. Wish I knew if there was a name for this, to make it easier to order.

there was this place I used to go to that had a rosewater-pomegranate juice drink.
dunno how you'd go about juicing a pomegranate, but it was tasty stuff.

I meant to say club soda, not soda water.

Last Call: Equal parts Pineapple and Orange juice, and Ginger ale to match those, optional dash of grenadine at the bottom for good looks. Serve on ice in big glass with straw. Bonus side-effect, it perks people up.
