Good online resources (particularly videos) that explain the seasons of the San Francisco Bay Area?

I'd just like a really clear explanation of the Mediterranean climate, if possible with regards to the Bay Area: why are the summers cool and dry, why are the winters wet and mild, etc. Low pressure systems, adiabatic cooling, all that good stuff. I'm trying to teach some undergraduates about it, and am hoping there's something really specific and easy to understand (and that explains it better than I could).
