Films About the Irish in America

Looking for movies that detail the experience of Irish-Americans or recent Irish immigrants to America.

In these films, the Irish or Irish-American identity should be fundamental to the plot, even if it is simply the environment of the film, as with the Irish-American characters in Mystic River. Also, films about Irish-Americans going to Ireland, as in The Matchmaker and The Quiet Man, are good.

Murder and crime doesn't sound very Irish to me. They are just gangster movies that rip off Irish heritage rather than Italian.

Angela's Ashes - although I think the book is better than the film.
