Tell me about the Texas State Guard

TexasStateGaurdFilter:Im interested in the Texas state guard. Can you all give me some details other than what on the website, which is really not that informative. Can i be deployed overseas in the TSG? What can i expect? Im in my mid thirties, married and two young kids, and ive always wanted to contribute to my country and state. Just looking for some details..Thanks!
