Name that song filter

Have this on one of my old college DJ tapes. Early to mid 90s.

Best answer: Wow, this takes me back. The song's "Present Tense," by the band Tripmaster Monkey! The only info I've been able to find about it is that it's from the soundtrack of a 90's movie called Naked in New York. Sadly, I've never been able to find the soundtrack (or an mp3 of the song), but I remember listening to a .wav of it several years ago when I was searching for anything related to the book Tripmaster Monkey by Maxine Hong Kingston.
